Blind spots. When you drive, it's the little spot you can't check in the mirror. You literally have to glance over your shoulder, to check and see if you are going to hit someone when you cross into another lane. It's a part of life, and when you learn how to drive, the instructor is very clear to alert you, that a blind spot can be fatal, if not appropriately manoeuvred. It's terrifying, the first few times you navigate your blind spots, as you twist your head around at 65 mph, barrelling down the highway. But soon, navigating blind spots becomes second nature. It's the same with your own life and new information. I remember thinking as a child that, when I grew up, I would reach some sort of zenith, where I would magically know everything and immortality would surely be mine. After reaching my mid-twenties, I was actually relieved to learn that no such pinnacle existed. I was going to unburden myself that such a notion ever existed. Blind spots and information will always exist, wether it's about myself, others around me or my own condition. The shackles of ignorance are always waiting for another link in the chain to be broken. There are a thousand ways that we do not know we are slaves, and yet the minute we find out, it becomes an all consuming fire, to break the blind spot chains. The immediacy of information on the internet, makes this fire a white hot brand that, if left unattended, can destroy your mind, with lifes injustices. The best way to free oneself of the pain, is though your own personal story. You already have your own built in "causes". I promise, there are plenty of slave chains to break in your own story. When each one of us focuses on our own chain, our larger human family can finally be set free. We are all slaves, looking to create the "freedom money" to buy our papers from the slave master.
