IJN Kii (紀伊) was the leadship of the Kii-class battleship. Ordered in 1921, as apart of a mass Japanese naval build up program (the famed 8-8 fleet scheme). However, after the signing of the Washington Naval Treaty in 1922, all work on the Kii-class ships was suspended and cancelled.
