I'm almost positive this little guy is a Red Tail Hawk because there was a pair nesting nearby in our woods. It appeared in our Arbor Vitae one morning, stayed for two days, then flew (not far as he just fledged) off into the trees. We heard a parent calling and he answered, so our worries about his survival evaporated.
