I began this impressionistic landscape on location at the Shaw Nature Preserve near St. Louis, Missouri—part of the world‑famous Missouri Botanical Garden. The scene glows with a vibrant harmony of reds, greens, blues, and soft pinks, capturing the shifting light and living colour of the preserve.
On the right side of the canvas, you’ll find a glimpse of the historic Bascom House, a red‑brick, two‑story modified Italianate‑Victorian home built in 1879 by former Confederate Colonel Thomas William Bouldin Crews. Once the centre of one of the five working farms purchased by the Missouri Botanical Garden in 1925, the home adds a sense of heritage and story to the peaceful natural setting.
This canvas print is created from an original oil painting by Daniel Fishback, blending expressive brushwork, on‑location energy, and a timeless appreciation for Missouri’s landscapes and history.

Very impressive product! The canvas is sturdily made. It features a saw tooth hanger on the back, making it easy to "try out" the canvas in several rooms until I found the best location. It attracts good comments from my friends. I love it! The printing is wonderful! Colors are as bright and crisp as they appeared on the website.

I bought this for our own home. It turned out beautifully, and I would recommend it to anyone who has concerns about the quality of the product. The printing turned out perfect. I did have some concerns how printing would turn out. Would the colors be accurate to the original painting's colors ? Yes. Would the sides look right? Yes. Would the bend affect the presentation? No, it's beautiful.
I took these pictures hurriedly, on a dark, rainy day, and the room is not particularly light any time. Regretfully, the photos do not do justice to the artwork.
