This poster was inspired by my students who struggle with the executive functioning skill of impulse control. Whenever I determine a student is suffering from impulse control, I have them read the poster as soon as they enter the class and allow them to reference it anytime during class. This poster has both allowed students options for addressing their impulses and given voice to how they are feeling all without words. The student can point, and I know they need to employ a strategy. This poser has been a silent game changer.
