I thought when ordering these socks that they were a bit on the expensive side. However, I realized when the socks arrived on my birthday, with my name on them, I could see they were extra special, and worth every penny. It's winter over here in New Zealand, and with the extra lining, these socks kept my feet warm walking on the frosty footpaths. The design and colors were exactly as pictured on the internet. The stretch quality of the socks did not affect the design.
