National flag of India India's national flag is a triband flag, with horizontal stripes in green, white and orange. In the centre of the flag is a navy blue wheel, known as the Ashoka Chakra. The flag was adopted in 1947, and has a 2:3 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
