Irises was painted in 1889 while Vincent van Gogh was living at the asylum at Saint Paul-de-Mausole in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, in the last year before his death in 1890. A stunning display of violet irises with vibrant green leaves, rich terracotta soil, against a back drop of bright orange marigolds and one single white iris. This image has been digitally enhanced to restore the original bold, bright colours and strong outlines. A perfect gift for any art lover!

I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
