This watercolor painting was inspired by a photo that I took in Lucca, Italy of a street corner flower market. There were beautiful flowers in lavender, red and pink in both pots and hanging baskets. The lush green leaves add extra beauty to this relaxing scene. Lucca is the only village in Italy that is still surrounded by it’s ancient walls. When you step through the enormous wooden gate it’s like you’re being transported in time!

I was very pleased with the product. On this particular one, the light grey has a pinky/magenta tone to it. The darker the black the better though. So I would have to be careful with light gradient in the future. Not sure whether they are printed CMYK or RGB.
