This early 20th century US Boxing History photo features Tut Jackson and Jack Johnson, two African American heavyweight boxers, shaking hands before facing each other in the ring. The tie-up was a part of the World Coloured Heavyweight Championship, which was the only recognised championship title awarded to African boxers before Jack Johnson won the world heavyweight title in 1908.
