Jacques David-Consecration & Coronation Postcard
This Neoclassicism history masterpiece titled, The Consecration of the Emperor Napoleon and the Coronation of the Empress Josephine by Pope Pius VII, 2nd December 1804 is made by the famous painter, Jacques-Louis David using oil on canvas in 1807. In the 1780s his cerebral brand of history painting marked a change in taste away from Rococo frivolity towards a classical austerity and severity, heightened feeling chiming with the moral climate of the final years of the Ancien Régime.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
