This gorgeous card is adorned with watercolor roses and a quote from Jane Austen -- perfect for any Austen lover.
The quote comes from Marianne in Sense & Sensibility: "What have wealth or grandeur to do with happiness?" (Volume I, Chapter 17)
Of course, Marianne's idea of scraping by with the bare minimum requires 2,000 pounds a year and allows for servants and a couple of carriages, which Elinor points out most would still consider wealth. It's a great passage and -- even if Marianne has gotten things wrong -- a lovely quote.
Watercolor roses taken from an original painting by award-winning artist, Carolyn Marshall Wright, member of Potomac Valley Watercolorists, signature member of Virginia Watercolor Society.

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
