This historic map of Central Europe and the Mediterranean should inspire every collector. It was published in October 1939 by National Geographic and shows the international borders from 1 September 1939, before Germany invaded Poland. The map was accompanied by an article entitled "War Clouds Over Danzig and Poland's Harbour".
In addition to map details such as railway lines, cities and country borders, there are also geographical details such as mountains, rivers, lakes, islands, swamps, deserts and much more to discover.
In a table, the country names are displayed in English and in the respective national language.
