Japan Imperial Rising Sun Flag, Edo to WW2 T-Shirt
The Rising Sun Flag is a Japanese flag (???, Kyokujitsu-ki) that consists of a red disc and sixteen red rays emanating from the disc. Like the Japanese national flag, the Rising Sun Flag symbolises the sun. The flag was originally used by feudal warlords in Japan during the Edo period. It was used up until the end of the 2nd World War. This work is in the public domain in Japan according to Article 13 of the Copyright Act of Japan.

When ordering I'd not realised they were being sent from Ireland. If I'd known, I would have got them sent directly to those they are gifts for, living in Northern Ireland 😂. Unsure, as hasn't arrived

This was the second shirt I ordered in the Harry Potter theme and I liked this one better because of the graphic and color of the shirt. The quality of the shirt is just average compared to others I have ordered and runs a little small. I doubt that it will be worn long after laundering. The graphic and print were really cute and looked good on a red shirt.
