Japanese Edo Tokyo Castle Palace Complex Engraving Postcard

This product features a 1859 black and white wood engraving of Edo Castle in Edo (Modern Tokyo), Japan as it appeared during the late Edo Period. During this era, it become a smaller part of the Tokyo Palace complex used by Emperors, once the Imperial family returned to Tokyo in 1888. This portion of the Imperial Tokyo Palace was separated into six different sections which each had its own architecture, tenants and rules of etiquette.
