A play on Je suis Charlie ("I am Charlie"), the universal expression of solidarity with the French cartoonists (of the magazine Charlie Hebdo) murdered by Islamic terrorists in January 2015. Charles Martel was the French king (technically prince) who turned back the Islamic invasion of Europe at the Battle of Tours in AD 732 (hence his surname, Martel--"the Hammer"!). United we stand!
