For those who aren’t sure what this means, it has to do with the story of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, the symbol of peace, stubborn defiance of fascism and, coincidentally, the symbol of the Democratic party, versus an elephant which we all know as the symbol for the Republican Party and the destroyer of all things small and impoverished that lie in its path. Now it’s pretty funny, right? Unless you’re a Republican of course.
