Jesus Postcard
This is the earliest surviving image of Jesus Christ. Painted around 1400 years ago, this image is located in the Monastery of St. Catherine in the Sinai, Egypt. It was painted with a wax technique known as encaustic. The two sides of his face are asymmetrical, probably for the sake of both realism and theological concerns (see my poster "Jesus x3" for what Jesus looks like in this painting if for only uses the right side his face, and if one only uses the left side of his face--perfect symmetry = two very different images of Jesus.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
