I chose Jet as the first subject for my mustang a day challenge painting because he is the quintisential Successful Band stallion. This is a horse who faced adversity during the gathers of 2008, lost all of his mares when they were seperated during management events. Then over a two year period has reassembled his Harem to what may again become the largest Band in the Sand Wash Basin Horse Management Area of Northern Colorado.
