The most important content on this composer calendar are 12 different signatures of the Thomas Cantor Johann Sebastian Bach. 14 artists have been participating over a time of 300 years: 13 painters and the Royal Polish and Electoral Court Composer. Every monthly sheet is decorated with a different signature and – of course – a different portrait of Bach or a situation with Bach. Originally these portraits were created by 12 painters, the first portrait even before Bach died in 1750.
