This lovely notebook has photo art of the Hoad Monument on both covers, and can be personalised with your name or words. More properly called The Sir John Barrow Monument, it stands at the top of Hoad Hill above Ulverston, South Lakeland, Cumbria, UK, and takes the form of a lighthouse, though has never been used as one. This is a digitally enhanced photo manipulation of the monument in snow, with the light of the sun low in the sky behind the monument. The mood is gentle and contemplative, the colour palette is of greys and white.

It is cardboard and plastic /laminated when it clearly states leather. I was expecting a leather front page. .
