Poster inspired by an artwork by John Melhuish Strudwick (In the golden days, 1907). John Melhuish Strudwick was a Pre-Raphaelite painter of the Victorian era. He was inspired by Edward Burne-Jones and also worked as his studio assistant in the 1870s. Another source of inspiration was the lapidary technique from the Italian quattrocento. His paintings were done in a blend of renaissance and mediaeval styles, with meticulous attention to detail, especially in his treatment of draperies and accessories, leading to a very small output. He employed rich, deep colours. This painting shows three beautiful young women that are making music together. New carefully enhanced image file.

I was given a small budget to decorate a free clinic. I ordered many of the posters from Zazzle because I could select various sizes that fit frames we could re-purpose. The quality of the printing is fine and there's a wide selection of subjects and styles to choose from. The paper quality on most of the items I ordered was decent. For some reason, though, the Ibis poster on "Perfect Poster (Glossy Finish)" is on very flimsy paper. It'll look fine when framed, but I would upgrade the paper choice if I did this over again. The image quality, colors, and printing quality were fine -exactly what I expected.

I love this calendar! The colors are rich and beautiful and the weight of the paper is perfect. It's not too thin. I hung it with a bit of double-sided tape and it lays flat to the wall. It looks great in my kitchen. It's perfect. The printing is bright and the colors are perfect.
