Joy to the World in Gold Christmas Invitation Card
Here is a technique that was a new to me. I began with photos of poinsettia flowers, and outlined them in gold, giving them a light shadow. There is a ribbon flowing from the bouquet and in the middle. Fill out your event details on the front of the card. The back has a glowing transition from light to dark gold, with a silhouette of large snowflakes. These cards are inspired by traditional Christmas carols, which I love. Beautiful invitations are the first step towards a special holiday get-together!

This card moved me so that I matted and framed 15 of these cards to give as gifts to my own children and closest friends. They loved them and will bring the framed angels out every Christmas to be enjoyed. Printing was rich and warm. The colors were clear and very pretty. I can picture these girls walking in a forest in Germany where we lived in Nuremberg. It is a lovely memory. Others will feel their own memory.
