JULIO RUIZ DE ALDA

Julio Ruiz de Alda Miqueleiz (1897-1936) había nacido en Estella (Navarra) Militar de carrera ingresó en la Academia militar de Artillería de Segovia. Se curtió como teniente en el campo del honour combatiendo en Tetuán. Posteriormente ingresó en el arma de la Aviación obteniendo el título de piloto en la Escuela de Getafe. Pero Julio Ruiz de Alda entra en la historia allá por los años veinte por su participación como capitán piloto en la hazaña del vuelo del "Plus Ultra", junto al comandante Ramón Franco, el mecánico Pablo Rada y el teniente de navío Juan Manuel Durán. Los cuatro españoles a bordo del hidroavión "Plus Ultra", realizaron la hazaña de seguir la ruta deColón por aire atravesando el océano Atlántico y realizando el vuelo desde Palos, en Huelva, hasta las aguas del Plata, en Argentina. Una proeza que hizo vibrar a España y el mundo. De esta hazaña se levantó como recuerdo a los héroes y aviadores del "Plus Ultra" el monumento que está situado en los arcos de la Moncloa frente al Ministerio del Aire. Tiempo después fue Presidente de la Federación Internacional de Aeronáutica de España. Asistió al Congreso Internacional de Aviadores en Roma, siendo condecorado por el gobierno fascista.

The material is allotcthicker and works well...colors allot more solid than before, improved printing...no ink jet print affects. Just adhesion level abit low the use on certain plastics. The colors were allot more solid than the last ones and didn't look like "ink jet printer" quality...more improved this time round... The stick adhesion was abit low than I expected and so doesn't stick on to every kind of plastic...thus using 3M stick to aid adhesion. Just need to improve the adhesion levels.
