Upon this 3,100 foot summit overlook on Echo Mountain near Hendersonville in Henderson county is a panoramic scenic mountain view. According to legend in a hauntingly beautiful tale, from this rock ledge a young maiden jumped off upon hearing of the death in battle of the Cherokee Indian tribal chief she loved.
