This card is a detail of 'Kahurangi o te Haeata' (Lady of the Dawn) and is a sister-painting to my painting 'Lady of the Dawn'. The paintings remind us that 'Within seeming diversity, there is unity'..... just as is one mother's love for her child, so is another's. I often paint hair to represent love.
