This 18th Century Japanese Edo Period Kakiemon Dragon motif appeared on many European porcelain styles of the 1800's : Meissen, Chantilly and Chelsea in the 1800's, inspired by the Kakiemon motifs. This illustration dates from 1775 - 1799.
