KEEP CALM & CARRY ON, DOORMAT

This doormat design was originally created as a poster for the British population in World War II when a German invasion seemed likely. Three different posters were printed but only two were actually used. This design was not used but taken from storage and repurposed, 2.4 million copies were pulped for the war effort. A bookdealer found one copy in 2000 and then made copies to sell. Today it is commonly seen in memes in a thousand different varieties. Here I use it as a colourful doormat. Wipe your dirty feet before you enter - and keep a stiff upper lip.
