Kichijiro Kidani Mouse Pad

Kichijiro Kiya was born on December 24, 1858, as the eldest son of Sakuzo Kiya in Awakizaki Village, Ishikawa County, Kaga Province. His family was a branch of the wealthy Kiya family, known for their merchant business during the Kaga domain era. He made his fortune as an entrepreneur in Kobe and returned to his hometown at the age of 63 to live a simple life. He donated large sums to students, social causes, and educational institutions without expecting anything in return. The design is based on 'Kamon of the Kiya Family' from the main documents related to the Kiya family in 'Kichijiro Kiya' by Takahisa Shimizu.
