Home of the Cheese Frenchy, King's Food Host was a family favourite place to eat in the 1960s. They had great food, and you ordered your meal by telephone from your table or booth. Sadly, the entire chain went bankrupt and closed down in 1974, although the Cedar Falls restaurant was closed before that.
