Fox (Kitsune) holding a key in its mouth, at the main gate of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto, Japan. The entrance to an Inari shrine usually has some statues of kitsune, which are often adorned with red yodarekake (votive bibs) by worshippers out of respect. This red colour has come to be identified with Inari, because of the prevalence of its use among Inari shrines and their torii. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
