Fox (Kitsune) holding a key in its mouth, at the main gate of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto, Japan. The entrance to an Inari shrine usually has some statues of kitsune, which are often adorned with red yodarekake (votive bibs) by worshippers out of respect. This red colour has come to be identified with Inari, because of the prevalence of its use among Inari shrines and their torii. The clock did not take as long to arrive as I thought it might and was extremely well packaged. I didn't do the measurements so I didn't realize it is a little smaller than the average clock but that does not matter (just make sure you check if that's important to you).It is really nifty! It seems very solid and well made not flimsy at all. It has been going well and has kept good time in its few weeks on my wall. Nice product. Gets noticed too! Nicer in real life than the picture but true to the picture
