Fox (Kitsune) holding a key in its mouth, at the main gate of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto, Japan.
The entrance to an Inari shrine usually has some statues of kitsune, which are often adorned with red yodarekake (votive bibs) by worshippers out of respect. This red colour has come to be identified with Inari, because of the prevalence of its use among Inari shrines and their torii.

My daughter in law loved this gift. She loved the shorter length and the pockets. Good durable fabric and well made. Would highly recommend. The printing was awesome.. the only comment I would make is that the print could be placed higher on the bib part as when it is tied around the waist you can’t see the writing well.
