Koi Pond Mouse Pad

Inspired by a desire for painting a watercolor, with a Japanese influence and an outdoor feeling, I created a long painting which this is a section of. Koi, swimming along a river or creek, enjoying rocks, waves and lily pads as they meander up stream. I love the small Koi pond in front of my studio, it inspires me as I paint, hearing the water fall. They recognise my voice when I talk with them and drop them some food. Tranquil, serene, calming, inviting.......
