Kratip Thai Lao Isan Bamboo Rice Basket known in Laotian as Tip Khao ຕິບເຂົ້າ and in Thai as Kratip กระติบ. Kratips are used to store glutinous sticky rice, Khao Niao in Thai ข้าวเหนียว and Lao ເຂົ້າໜຽວ. Sticky rice is a staple diet of northern Thais (Lanna people) and northeastern Thais (Isan), who share their southeast Asian culinary culture with the people of Laos.
