Kuniyoshi Four Cats print. Japanese Ukiyo-e from the Edo period. Utagawa Kuniyoshi was a master of multiple genres of woodblock printing and painting. Cats were a particular favourite of Kuniyoshi, and Four Cats in Different Positions is one of his most charming cat paintings. The work features four Japanese bobtail cats, one sitting, one sleeping, one playing, and the other waving its paw. A cute gift for fans of Kuniyoshi, Japanese art, and cat paintings.
