Labyrinth Mug, Daedal: Maze art, Dinosaurs Mug

A strange labyrinth shaped like the letter D is explored by a group of curious golden dinosaurs... and one minosaur? Or is it a dinotaur? A maximalist miniature maze with plenty of detail to get lost in, including some odd topiary and a verse from the poem "Daedal" by A.E. Stallings, used by permission of the author. The image is a reproduction of an original painting on wood panel by Leah Palmer Preiss, executed in acrylics over a collaged background of text (scanned from an old dictionary, including the definition of "daedal:-- cunningly or ingeniously formed... skilful... varied, variegated, rich.") One of a series of "Curiotype" paintings created for Anu Garg's A.Word.A.Day 2021
