A lady in an elegant long dress is walking along the promenade with her two daughters. The woman is holding a parasol in her hand, while one of the daughters is holding a staff or walking stick. They are all dressed formally and are all wearing fancy hats. The sea can be seen behind them, as well as the city of Verona itself. The original Italian title of this painting is "Passeggiata sul Ponte Nuovo", which means "Stroll along the Ponte Nuovo bridge".
