Lady of Lourdes

This is a stunning set of gold framed vinyl stickers celebrating Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette. It includes a beautiful depiction of St. Bernadette as a nun. Bernadette Soubirous is famous for her beautific visions of the Virgin Mary in the Grotto of Massabielle, known as the Lady of Lourdes. The Lady requested from the young girl that a chapel be built there. Bernadette was born in 1844 in Lourdes and had her visions in 1858. She became a nun in 1866. Saint Bernadette was well known for her humility. She died at the age of 35 in 1879 and was canonised in 1933. Her Feast day is 16 April. The set also includes a toucing depiction of Our Lady of Lourdes with Saint Bernadette. The beautifully serene Lady stands in the Grotto of Massabielle with her hands together in prayer and her gaze towards the heavens. She is dressed in white and blue. There are pretty little flowers at her feet. Across from her the lovely and humble young St. Bernadette Soubirous is shown on her knees in praise of the wonderful vision of the Virgin Mary. The largest sticker is of the Lady of Lourdes herself in her beautiful robe. This sticker has a stunning gold frame which ads to this beautiful depiction.
