Lady with a Bosch Egg - with several nods to master Hieronymus Bosch - his fantastical elements - this piece really celebrates my love for mediaeval and renaissance art. This wide eyed renaissance beauty holds Bosch's strange egg creature amongst a desolate landscape, the muted colours really giving this painting an Old World feel. It was truly a joy for me to paint, and I can hardly stop looking at it myself! Hieronymus Bosch is a huge influence on my work - a big part of the reason I became interested in gothic and fantasy art. My own lowbrow big eyed take Bosch's work (also with hints of Cranach and da Vinci in there) - a celebration of my love for Art History in general as well. I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
