Lake Treman Postcard

This postcard features Lake Treman which is situated at the top of Buttermilk Falls State Park, just south of Ithaca in the Finger Lakes Region of New York state. The water drops more than 600 feet over 10 separate waterfalls and eventually empties into Cayuga Lake. On this lovely autumn day, clouds and sun alternated to create a fascinating pattern in the sky which was reflected in the water. The woods surrounding the lake were ablaze with fall foliage colours of orange, yellow, red, gold and green. Golden shrubbery framed the foreground.
