Leap Year 2020 Ceramic Tree Decoration
Did you know that 2020 is a leap year? It is, with 366 days. February 29 is leap day, that extra day added to the month of February every four years, with some exceptions. This is a special year, since it is the beginning of a new decade. Leap days are added to the calendar to keep our Gregorian calendar aligned with the planet Earth’s orbit around the sun, called the astronomical or seasonal year. This image of a breaching whale represents the leap from Feb 28 to Feb 29. Celebrate this special year with a leap year or leap day party, especially if you have a leap year birthday and may be known as a leaper. Please feel free to add a name to personalize this product.
