Left Mitsudomoe (rough sketch) T-Shirt
The left and right sides of the tomoe crest are not determined by the direction of the swirl, but rather by a rational name created based on the diagram. Even a skilled artist may be unsure of the left and right sides of the tomoe at times. However, they recall a useful oral tradition... First, make a fist with your left hand and look at your wrist. The shape is that of a left tomoe. If you make a fist with your right hand, the shape of a right tomoe appears immediately. (from 'The Story of Family Crests' by Tsumio Awagasaka, p. 61). This design is a rough sketch specification. It is standard for the tail of the tomoe not to touch the outer circle (basic circle). Heavy duty Cotton. The design and colours are superb, I feel very proud as a Graham descendant from Appleby Westmorland Cumbria to wear this especially when wearing of patches is banned in Aotoearoa - New Zealand.
Kiwis wear all black as the t shirt is with Green lettering to match the environment and yellow for joy and purple thistle to match my hair.
The wardrobe police know who my Clan is now !
