Leg Hold Turns Rubber Stamp

Why does TFB calls the competitive dance move "leg hold turns" as "pirouettes detires," you ask. Well, according to Gail Grant's ballet dictionary, a detire is done by extending your leg, supported by the ankle, heel or sole. According to the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points, the move is called a front or side split with help, and those dance competition-orientated jazz dance moves are borrowed from that sport as well as figure skating (there, called a Y or I-spin). This rubber stamp is GREAT for scrapbookers!
