Giovanna Garzoni (1600–1670) was an Italian painter who was prominent in Europe during the Baroque period. Garzoni started her career painting religious, mythological, and allegorical subjects but became famous for her works with tempera and watercolors of botanical subjects. The artist rose to prominence due to her precision and balance with space and scientific realism of her subjects.

Due to the cost of this cup I thought it would be of finer quality China but it isn't. The picture of the butterfly wings is okay but not as cool as the photo because it has a white boarder around it. So it was nice enough but not as cool as its price suggested. It arrived by post quickly and in good condition so that was really good. As above. Not quite as good as the picture indicated
