An Angel in Red with a Lute (c. 1490-1508) by artist Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519) is a vintage Renaissance Era fine art religious portrait painting featuring an angel making music playing a musical instrument and was most likely painted by an associate of Leonardo da Vinci. This painting, together with "An Angel in Green with a Vielle" and "Madonna of the Rocks" are panels that come from the same altarpiece made for the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception for their church, San Francesco in Milan.
