This design features the national flag of Liberia (officially known as the Republic of Liberia), which is a country on the coast of West Africa. Liberia is bordered by Sierra Leone to the northwest, Guinea to the north, Côte d'Ivoire to the east and the Atlantic Ocean to the south-southwest.
