The Legend of Little Point Sable Lighthouse - One of the oldest beacons on the Great Lakes, Little Point Sable Lighthouse, shines on the beautiful white sands near Silver Lake on Lake Michigan. Little Point Sable is a lighthouse located south of Pent¬water in the lower peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. Following the loss of the Schooner Pride in 1866, public outcries for a light at this locale were finally heard and heeded.
