This image was photographed for beauty and rustic charm....but this was all the security we had at our former home shared with my father for a time. I grew up here, and my grandfather, whom I write about on other venues, used to walk these very steps up to his home in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The tree on the other side was their spirit tree my grandmother once said.
