Lobster Traps Newfoundland and Labrador Postcard
The lobster trap was invented by Ebenezer Thorndike of Swampscott, Mass. The wooden lath trap originated in 1810 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. It was used for years by New England fishermen before American companies introduced them to the Canadian fishery through their Atlantic coast canneries.
This postcard depicts a serene seascape with lobster traps in the foreground in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
